Today, there is nothing more important than a good, safe and secure home which is very difficult to have as the prices are touching the sky out there. It is big challenge today to purchase own house and the one time wish for most of us.  So, it’s our responsibility to check everything related to the house/apartment/flat while buying it to make sure that the things are going right. So, while selecting and purchasing a flat/house/apartment there are few things which must be taken into account for healthy and happy living and these are as follows:

·         The entrance or main door should be only in North, East or North-West direction.

·         Dodge buying flats with cuts in North-east or South-east direction.

·         The drainage pipes must have their way in West, North or North-west direction.

·         Balconies and windows should be towards East or North.

·         Worship room should be in North-east corner of flat.

·         The kitchen of the house should be in the South-east direction.

·         The over-head tank must be in South-West direction, whereas, the underwater tank should be in North-east direction.

·         The shape of the flat should be regular like, square or rectangular.

·         The apartment should not be on dead end of the road and at any T-point.

·         Every room should have four corners or walls.

·         The openness should be more in North/East sides than the South/West sides.

·         Lift should not face the entrance.

·         Children’s room should be in north-east or the north-west direction.

·         Children’s study room must be in Northeast, Northwest, North, West direction and the study table should be in Northern or Eastern wall. Pooja room and study room kept adjacent is considered good.

·         House/flat should have Eastern balcony which is essential and good.

·         In a flat kitchen and toilet should not be adjacent.

·         In the house the master bedrooms should be in the Southwest corner.

·         The drawing room of the flat/house must be in northwest, east side.

·         Kitchen should be in southeast direction.

·         The bathroom must be in west or south direction.

·         Toilet must never be on Northeast side.

·         Guest room should be in Northwest direction.

·         Store room must be at Southern part of the house.

·         The ideal height of the rooms is twelve to fourteen inches.

·         The ideal gap between the floor and the window is 3-4feet and must have same level from the top.
