While selecting a plot if the small plot has been chosen then one should take care that there must be no big tree like Mango, Banana etc. and if big plot has been chosen then, the construction or building area must be far away from the tree.

It is vital to check the proper direction of the plot because as per vastushastra all directions are good and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The plot which is in the direction of the East is good for scholars, philosophers, priests, professors, teachers etc. as through the east morning sun rays comes and thus it is considered as the source of enlightenment. For the people who are in power, administration and those who work for government the North facing plot is beneficial. South facing plot is best for the people who are in business class and for those who work in business organizations at management level. Whereas, for the people who provide supporting services to the society the more suitable plot is west facing.
